Rhythm Guitar Improvisation
This might sound weird but in gypsy jazz, we don’t just play same chords over and over (of course we sometimes do) . Because this sounds nicer and audience won’t get bored when the sound changes.
Once I was into improvising rhythm guitar a lot and this is beautiful work to do. It’s like you are playing solo with chords .
After learning today’s lesson, please try to make your own rhythm guitar!
All of me chords
I used the famous intro for this song. Probably you hear this often so it’s good to know the chords!

How to improvise chords
How ? Actually it’s quite difficult to explain . You have to know Diatonic chords and gypsy jazz way of movements and scales.
To add bass lines , I just follow the scales and jazz rule(I don’t know if I can call it jazz rule…), like you use the notes one fret before or after the landing notes.
Also you have to know Diatonic chords to make like this chord progressions. Or you just need good ears and sense to do so which I don’t have that’s why I learnt theory and logic etc…
