Let’s learn Mexicano latin music called Besame Mucho(Kiss me a lot).
You might’ve thought this was a spanish song but this song came from mexico.
It’s a nice latin feeling song and fun to play. Also it’s not that hard to improvise. Let’s tale a look!
Transcription・Chords
This is a quite up-tempo version. Sometimes I play fast like this or very slow, depending on the feeling.
I use octaves for some part like below. I usually use a pick and middle finger to play. But if you want louder then you can play just with a pick.
Chords and tab
I want you to look at G7s. Chord progression is G/Gm to G7 to Cm which is 5-1 progression. To use G7 makes it smoother to go to Cm.That’s why I use them.
They are the main chords and different positions.
Rhythm Guitar Strokes
This time, I didn’t use ”la pompe” because this stroke sounds very good.
When you play triplet mute parts, try to play each notes. Not to stroke down too quick!
Improvisation solo
I wanted to introduce many gypsy-jazz-licks so I used them quite much. Could be too many licks in it so , try to arrange my solo!
After this lesson, take a look at them below as well !
