Let’s practice Blues Minor / Blues en Mineur .

This is a very famous song in gypsy jazz and one of the coolest songs Django played.

It’s kind of simplified version because I used important melody from the original song. But also arpeggios and scales which you would use rest of your life.

Every technique and licks , arpeggios are quite important , so you can memorise them. And I would explain a bit about these parts.

This is in Gm. When you want to move up the chords, you can do like this. Bass notes goes G – A – Bb, the I landed on Gm6/E.

This one is when you want to move down the chords , you can use this cliche movements. Bass notes goes G – F# – F – E as chords goes Gm – Gm△7 – Gm7 – Gm6.
