Today , we are going to learn one of the coolest song in gypsy jazz called Joseph Joseph.
Chord progression is simple as 1-4-5 , mostly, so it’s easy to improvise but also difficult to do so because it’s a simple progression.
Anyways let’s start!
Chords
It looks very much gypsy-jazzy chord progression.
One tip . When it goes Am6 to A7 to Dm6 , A7 is just used because A7 is 5th degree of Dm6. We often use this thing.
examples
Dm → Gm・・・Dm →D7→Gm
They are the chords often used.
transcription・tab
This is a standard version. It’s also nice to know non-improvised version. Because if you only learn arranged one, then you might be saying ” Oh… I don’t know” when people ask you to play the melody.

As you heard, Play la pompe!
