This is a very bluesy chord progression as 1-4-1-5 , mostly called ”Blues Minor”(Blues en mineur)

Easy to learn the rhythm guitar but solo… Django’s solo is never easy to learn…

Anyway, I suppose we have time to learn this song and it always takes time to develop the skill. So let’s take it easy and learn slowly.

This is the original one.

And this is the transcription. I tried to be accurate but I changed a few part because that’s how I learnt ages ago. Probably that was a different version..

From the last note of 34th bar, this is a typical gypsy jazz lick so remember it. We often use this at the end of bars to end the solo or to go to next chorus.

Also the part I underlined , it’s called Enclosure, this makes your solo more gypsy jazzy. if you are not familiar with Enclosure , please go to How to use enclosure to see what it is.
